The Beginning

The first 2 days of NSU Upward Bound Summer Program 2010 has been accomplished with success! The students that are here for the first module are all moved in and having a great time. Classes are going great, and the students are enjoying all the activities.

Some exciting things that has gone on so far:
~Computer class for the first week with Mr. Osman was taught via Skype.

~On Tuesday June 2, the group toured Presentation College.

~The science classes are making PowerPoint presentations about astronomy.
~The students found their new families for the weeks that they are here:

Family 4: The Smacks

Things coming up:
~The students will go camping Saturday June 5 and Sunday June 6.
Tug-o-War, campfires, and fun activities are on the agenda for this exciting trip.
